Five scholarship pathways
Scholarships are awarded on merit and are reviewed annually. Recipients are expected to model the values of the College and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
Academic Excellence
For students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and the capacity to thrive in the demands of the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.
All-Rounder
For students who combine strong academic results with genuine contribution to school life through leadership, service and co-curricular participation.
Arabic and Islamic Studies
For students showing exceptional ability and commitment in Arabic language, Quran recitation and Islamic Studies.
Sporting Excellence
For students who have achieved at representative level in their chosen sport and who model discipline and sportsmanship.
Creative and Performing Arts
For students with outstanding talent in visual arts, music, drama or public speaking and debating.
How to apply
Scholarship applications open in Term 1 each year for entry in the following academic year. Families of current and prospective students are invited to submit an application form together with supporting evidence — recent school reports, external examination results, references, and certificates or portfolios relevant to the category applied for.
Shortlisted applicants sit a written assessment and attend an interview with the Headmaster. Applicants for sporting and creative arts scholarships may also be asked to provide a performance or a portfolio of work.
Conditions
Scholarships provide a remission of tuition fees for the duration specified in the letter of offer. They are not transferable, may be held alongside other forms of fee assistance only with the approval of the Headmaster, and are subject to the student maintaining satisfactory academic progress, attendance and conduct.
